New foreign volunteers have come to our association

On January 14, the new ESC volunteers have arrived in Debrecen so the KÖZ-Pont team was expanded with three foreign young men. They came from Spain, Germany, and France and will be operating in our city until the end of September. They’ve been here for a month now, so they gained some experience and a pretty good cooperation started!

Volunteers who arrive for nine months are placed in various volunteer programs. They’ve been at the animal shelter, community house programs, or they have been helping orphan homes. The main focus of their volunteering is the sharing of their culture, also they are going to help local high schools, as giving them language lessons. Furthermore, through other programs, in the summer maybe through festivals, they can encourage the youth this opportunity of volunteering.
