The topic of our conversation club was about movies and series

Our second online Conversation Club was succesfully organized on Monday. During the program we were using the Google Hangouts app. All four of our ESC volunteers from Debrecen, one trainee and three external participants were also present at the discussion.

The topic of the conversation was about movies and series. During the program we talked about watching movies and some individual preferences. Popular films and lesser-known works have been discussed. Of course, the conversation could not have been complete without mentioning the Marvel vs. DC's forever going battle. No to anobody’s suprise the two opposing camps were represented in our group too. It also turned out whether, ashamed or not, are there any people amongst us who haven’t seen the Star Wars movies. It was also discussed whether How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory should be considered among the must-see series. We talked about the down sliding career of the Russian film industry and the pleasantly improving Hungarian film industry was also examined.
The mood of the conversation was good. There was a general suprisement amongst the participants when we learned that Turkey had made their own Star Wars film. Fun fact, not even George Lucas himself knows that this movie exists. We hope to have a similar interesting conversations next time.
