HABIDISZ Debate Club about the impact of Covid-19 on the high school students

Alliance of Student Self-Governments’ of Hajdú-Bihar County hosted the first discussion club of the year on 21th of January, 2021, which was organized online on the Zoom Meeting platform with the involvement of 3 moderators and 13 participants. The actual discussion topic was the Covid-19, considering the current second wave measures and the impact on the life of the youngsters.

In this regard, several questions arose, which the participants are discussed about enthusiastically and they clashed their arguments. In addition, the participants are expressed their views about the online education’s advantages and disadvantages, about the using of the mask, about the economical and health consequences or about the effects of the confinement. For these questions Eszter Földi and Orsolya Fenyvesi prepared with some great practices.

Although, the students’ opinions are not matched in everything, but the debate is all about. But they all agreed in that these current changes will have longer impact, and however it isn’t easy for them now, but we have to learn to live with this.

The debate club was closed with an association word chain game which is led by Dóra Cserta.
