Alliance of Student Self-Governments’ of Hajdú-Bihar County – Staff meeting

HABIDISZ held the February staff meeting online due to the current conditions, but the staff members appeared in a big number in the program.

At first the president of the HABIDISZ explained shortly to the participants, what topics they will talk about in the meeting, then the Centre Youth Association’s Transylvanian volunteers led the participants into the world of the project management.

At first Tímea Csortán asked from her participants like what is a project? What its main tasks? Furthermore: What needs for a project’s successful implementation or for its failure? The staff members for these questions collected the answers which they considered as good ones together. Following the theoretical part Tímea Kiss presented their own photo competition project, so the youth could get know that, how it is built up in practice. She told that what problems they had to face with, and how they solved these, also what they should pay close attention to.

The management of HABIDISZ decided a few weeks ago, they form workgroups from the staff members with a board member at their head. This is mutually advance for the board members, whom have a little help by this, but for the staff members too, because they can participate more in the life of the HABIDISZ and they also can develop their skills with getting know new fields. For recent events the teams are already started the work, so the HABIDISZ waits for custom feedbacks currently about how they manage with their chosen fields and they got the opportunity for a possible group change too. The board members also told their own experiences and they held a small recruit speech why is good to belong to their group.

Finally, the coordinator spoke about the programs in row in March and he recommended opportunity to they meet personally since a long time ago, although just for a short time for a treasure hunter game outside. If staff members are open to it, they will also be able to help run a similar game in the future, where high school classes would compete with each other.

In the closing speeches turned out that the students would like to participate in the planning and they can’t wait for these occasions.
