Streets of Debrecen Photo competition

The Centre Youth Association’s two volunteers in Debrecen, Tímea Csortán and Tímea Kiss turned to the secondary school students with a very creative idea. This idea was a photo competition, the purpose of the volunteers with this was to move out the youngsters and unleash their creativity, all of this in that way they had to take a picture about the streets and squares of Debrecen in addition a potato had to be in the photo.

So, the competition began and the students sent the pictures slowly. It's good to know the competition had two prizes one was the prize of the audience which was a prize card worth 5,000 HUF courtesy of Buri-Buri, and a professional prize which came out thanks to Márton Fejes, the head of the TRILITE studio. Upon expiry of the submission deadline the pictures were upload to the Association’s facebook page where they could be viewed. Then after two weeks the announcement of results’ day has arrived. Most of the likes were received on Facebook by the picture submitted by Petra Rényai, she won the worth of HUF 5,000. Buri-Buri gift card, that is, the audience award. Márton Fejes found the image of Judit Gere to be the most suitable from a professional point of view, therefore, her prize was a two-hour professional training. The winners of the competition were notified by telephone and the time and place of the award giving were immediately agreed upon. Soon the award giving happened and the award of the audience were given by the volunteers to Petra in front of the Buri-Buri’s building all of this followed with a picture taking with the gift card and with the certificate too. Then they met with Judit in front of the TRILITE studio, where Márton Fejes himself said congratulations to the winner and gave the winner card as a symbol, and the volunteers the certificate. After a joint picture which the ESC volunteer girls made in front of the studio, they said goodbye to each other then Judit stayed for further consultation with Márton.

Overall, it can be said that the idea and the implementation was great, but the girls considered small the amount of the submitted pictures but they were happy about that there were some people who applied to this wonderful competition and they could give valuable prizes to the young competitors.
