The Menedékház Foundation’s ESC volunteers in Nyíregyháza

The Menedékház Foundation’s volunteers and their coordinator visited Nyíregyháza on April 26 the Community FACES Youth Office and Community Space where they spent a full day with our Hungarian-speaking volunteers in Nyíregyháza.

After their arrival the cross-border volunteers held a presentation about the Association and its activities to their fellow volunteers, guests who belong to the Budapest Foundation and are also from Transylvania. Following this a short conversation came, where we could get know the activities of the Foundation and we gain insight into the daily lives of volunteers there. Then we thought, we involve the guests to the tasks in here and together, with united forces we started to get in order the courtyard. As a deduction of the day, we went to sightseeing between that we visited the Bujtos lake too where we spent a little time in a good mood. Finally the joint garden work and the big walks we deducted with a drink consume on a terrace.
