Visit of our ESC volunteers at the Menedékház Alapítvány of Budapest

On 21th of June the Centre Youth Association’s ESC volunteers are went to the Menedékház Alapítvány of Budapest, where the active volunteers are presented that what kind of activity they are doing and what things they are helping the work of the foundation.

The Menedékház Alapítvány is doing the families in need and homeless people helper activity in the XI. district of Budapest. It provides support for families in need and for individuals with night shelter, with warmer living room of the homeless, with impatient care, with rehabilitation program and temporary homes for families.

Our Association’s ESC volunteers were showed around in the building of the foundation and it was presented with details, how their institution is operates. For the volunteers it was good to see that, with what a devotion are helping the workers there to make other’s life better, and it’s what a big help for the people in need.

After the presentation of the institution, they have entertained our volunteers with a delicious lunch, then with a company of a tour guide the two teams are went to the Castle of Buda, where despite of the big warm everybody had a good time.
