The February begins with a helpful work at the Dorkász Service

On a gloomy, a little rainy Saturday 3 ESC volunteers, a fellow worker of Debrecen and some young student helped with assistance activities at the Dorkász Service. In the morning they gathered on the bus station, where after the purchase of the ticket, got on the vehicle and they set off towards to the Dorcas Camping near the Lake Vekeri.

Already on the bus the atmosphere was cheerful, and the youth had a lot of good conversations with each other.

After a few minutes they have arrived to the entrance of the Dorcas Camping, but before then entered to its territory, one of the offices of Debrecen’s fellow worker served 1-2 information to the youth. Then they walked through the gate, and they went to the rooms immediately where the volunteering work take place, but suddenly from another building they told, everything before a little hot tea and coffee waiting for the volunteer team. Meanwhile they consumed the coffee and tea, the workers told what the team’s task will be. Their activity reflected in that they assorted clothes: based on gender, size and seasons. A local worker told all of the details what they have to do, after the briefing the light fingered teens started immediately. On the table and the bags sticked tags by categories, to make the work process easier. And this method has worked, because the work went easily. One box of clothes followed the other and the bags were filled up well with the assorted clothes. A good mood developed during the sorting, and they listened to some music on the radio, in addition sometimes a little joke slipped in. They stopped a little later, and held a little rest, then following it they continued the activity enthusiastically. They were so diligently folded and selected like they didn’t even notice, and they finished with 3 big heap clothes assortments, but barely a few minutes passed. Then everybody went back to the main building, where they had the opportunity to play a little foosball and table tennis, which they enjoyed a lot, because the common game shook the youth a little.

Then the time had come, when they had to go to the bus stop. After a short wait the bus arrived, which took everyone home safely to Debrecen.
