Collecting the bird feeders around the Békás Lake

In Saturday morning with some volunteers, we went to the Békás Lake again, but this time our task was to collect the bird feeders.

We woke up to a sunny morning on Saturday, so everybody came with a good mood to the collecting of the bird feeders. Our meeting was at the main building of the University. Everybody arrived in time and the first task has begun, which was that to find the placed bird feeders.

Fortunately, there were a volunteer like who participated in the outplacing and the refilling too. An early morning walk in the empty park was a particularly refreshing pastime. The youth are enjoyed that at last they don’t have to stay at between the four walls and they can do valuable work.

During the walk, we encountered several rubbishes, which we of course collected once we were there. I was especially happy about that after the finished work an external youngster were interested in our activity. It is provable with this that that it is indeed important to put our environment in order so that we can get others to take action.

After our work in the morning, we put the plastic bottles to a close selective waste collector, which were already quite worn. However, we acted in an environmentally conscious way because at once we used up these more times. We also provided food for the birds in the winter.
