School Community Service Fair in Nyíregyháza

This year got implemented on 11 th of October the School Community Service Fair in the Community FACES Youth Office and Community Space.

The purpose of the event is those receiving institutions, which are dealing with school community service they could introduce their organization and the activities which they can do there. Also, the students could get information in connection with the IKSZ.

This year 10 organizations could show up to the students: Talentum Foundation, Art Misszió Foundation, Hungarian Red Cross Organization of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, Élim Luthertarian Home, Europe Direct’s Organization of the Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, Kállay Collection, Fiatal fogyatékkal Élők Otthonáért Association, Periféria Association, Oltalom Service, Centre Youth Association.

In addition to these a few complementary activities are waited for the participants. They could try out one of our Association’s huge boardgame the Volunteer taboo where they could learn about different definitions in connection with the volunteering they could participate in activities, which they painted gypsum figures also in the whole time they could watch the settled-out organizations’ small movies.

The event was attended by approximately 200 young people from four schools.
