Student Mayor election in Miskolc

On 30. November 2022 got organised in Miskolc the Student Mayor election in the City Hall’s General Meeting room, which was implemented by the Miskolc City Student Self-Government and the Centre Youth Association.

On the election two youngsters fought Csenge Pető from the Alternatíva Életfa School and Dávid Bence Lőrinczi from the Kós Károly Technical School. On the event approximately 30 schools of Miskolc represented itself. After the introduction of the candidates, they had to give a report in a given topic then they had to write a speech which they had to read. But these happened after the campaign movies and campaign speech. The fast questions round unfortunately weren’t so rich.

At the end based on the jury’s and the school’s votes Dávid Bence Lőrinczi became Miskolc’s new Student Mayor and Csenge Pető became the new Miskolc Student Deputy Mayor.
